An old optometric chart bearing the inscription "Dr Parinaud", presented in a wooden frame with a handle. Its two sides offer printed texts in different sizes, accompanied by graduations and reading distances, intended for the examination of visual acuity. The contrast between the black characters, the cream paper and the patinated wood gives it a beautiful graphic presence, particularly with the large word "Lumière" (Light) at the bottom of one side.
