An old notarized deed from Fieffe dated July 23, 1751, comprising four handwritten pages on parchment. An imposing initial opens the formula “To all those who these presents,” accompanied by a Rouen seal featuring three fleurs-de-lis. The well-contrasted brown script unfolds in lines punctuated by calligraphic words and marginal annotations. Signatures with intertwined flourishes complete this beautiful 18th-century piece. A collectible document for the quality of its calligraphy, the texture of the parchment, and its decorative appeal.
