The red typography on a light background, framed by Art Nouveau scrolls, is characteristic of French pharmaceutical productions of the Belle Époque. The presence of the dosage instructions printed inside the lid, as well as the mention of the Gourdin pharmacy in Tours, confirms a strictly therapeutic and regulated use, typical of medications dispensed in pharmacies at the turn of the 20th century.
