Antique small archer’s pitcher in white earthenware, featuring the number 9 in an elegant dark calligraphy. Its decoration combines blue bands at the neck and base with speckled brown accents on the sides and handle. The slightly thickened rim and small pouring spout complete this understated silhouette, typical of ceramics intended for daily use. It evokes the festive gatherings and camaraderie of archery societies, whose traditions are rooted in the history of medieval guilds. Its small size and the marks of its past give it a unique charm, to be appreciated on its own or as part of a collection of numbered pitchers.
