An old, two-leaf trim board, joined together, featuring a methodical arrangement of gold and silver metallic cords, affixed with wax to handwritten sheets. The handwritten annotations, in German, organize the references by series with the rigor typical of a workshop tool, indicating calibers, compositions, and variations. The fineness of the braids and the repetition of motifs create a composition that is both technical and visually balanced, enhanced by the beautiful overall patina.
