Beautiful commercial board from a tailor or fabric merchant, presenting textile samples intended for the creation of custom-made clothing. The richly ornate Art Nouveau-style header highlights quality and prestige with medals and heraldic decoration, typical of late 19th-century sales materials. The samples, still attached with their original references, offer a sober and elegant palette of cloths and fabrics for men's clothing. The whole exudes a strong decorative aesthetic, halfway between a textile archive and a graphic object.
