Elegant set of three typographic plates dedicated to Gothic lettering: church alphabet in blue and red, Italian Gothic script traced on a grid, and large Gothic initials. Their powerful forms and construction designs make them a beautiful document for a graphic designer, calligrapher, sign painter, or lover of vintage typography. They come from the Schriften-Schatz, a collection of alphabet and script models published around 1890 in Ravensburg by Otto Maier, under the direction of Albert Schiller.
