Old enamel heart-shaped plaque - approx. 18cm

Old heart-shaped enameled sheet metal funerary plaque, dedicated to Paul, with the date October 31, 1913, and the mention "aged 37". Its faded inscriptions are discernible on a white background that has turned ivory, accompanied by a small cross and a flame motif at the bottom. The rusty brown patina highlights the outline of the heart and contrasts with the softness of the erased lettering. This appearance gives it a singular decorative presence, for display in a cabinet of curiosities or among mementos. The plaque retains its three fixing holes.
