Old enameled sign used to identify the lodge of a concierge or building superintendent. Its sober design, combining a deep blue background with highly legible white lettering, evokes the administrative and residential signage used in apartment buildings, hotels, and public establishments during the Trente Glorieuses (Glorious Thirty) period. The significant traces of oxidation on the edges indicate long outdoor exposure and reinforce its authenticity.
