An old, domed enamel sign with thick black lettering, made by the Belgian manufacturer Weyns – Antwerp , which was very active during the first half of the 20th century. The compact rectangular shape, double dark blue border, and reinforced mounting holes are typical of commercial signs used at shop counters, in government offices, or at ticket counters. The enamel has a fine firing with some characteristic spots of handcrafted production.
