Vintage white enamelled metal sign bearing the inscription “1st FLOOR – Mrs.’s Rm.” in black lettering on two lines. Its serif typography combines large characters with superscript abbreviations in a charming composition. Rectangular in shape, with a rounded, pierced tab at the top for mounting, it was intended to identify Madame’s bedroom on the first floor. A small piece of indoor signage that evokes the way houses were organised in days gone by and stands out for its wording.
