Enamel sign "It is dangerous to lean out..."

Old rectangular enameled tin sign bearing the inscription "IL EST DANGEREUX DE SE PENCHER AU DEHORS" (It is dangerous to lean out), a familiar instruction on train carriage windows. Its two-line text is framed by a thin black line surrounding the two mounting holes. The faded lettering and signs of age give it a patina evocative of old journeys.
