Enameled pharmaceutical sign "Spec. Pector."

Old enamelled sheet metal pharmacy plaque with the inscription "SPEC. PECTOR.", an abbreviation of Species pectorales, or "pectoral species," mixtures of plants intended for the preparation of herbal teas. Its black lettering on a white background is outlined by a double frame, with a wide black border hugging the rounded and perforated ends for fixing. A small piece reminiscent of old apothecaries and their herbal preparations, to collect or display in a cabinet of curiosities.
