Old white enamelled metal plate with black border, numbered "N° 5". Its inscription reminds one to close the general water service stopcock when the villa is unoccupied. It bears the signature "Piollet Marie & Leguerrier" and the address "7, rue de l’Aqueduc, Paris", with two lateral mounting holes. Its varied lettering sizes and very precise instructions give it a particular charm, to be humorously reinterpreted in a bathroom, a laundry room or a holiday home.
