Enamelled heart-shaped grave plaque - approx. 20.5cm

Old heart-shaped enamel plaque dedicated to Josephine, who died on December 29, 1925, "in her 64th year." The composition combines large, slender letters with italic script, with the inscriptions "Here rests" and "Mourned by her family." An ochre line highlights the outline of the heart, while a dark flame occupies the lower part. The white background, the nuances of the lettering, and the rusted patina of the borders give this plaque a beautiful graphic presence. It retains its three mounting holes.
