Large antique double-sided game board, printed on cardboard with a red border.
One side features “The Mousetrap” , a circular board game where players progress around the board avoiding various traps (cheese, hole, candles, trap…), with illustrations of mice in the corners.
The other side features the “Hunters’ Game” , a strategic board with a network of interconnected squares, decorated with hunting scenes (deer, dogs, rider) evoking traditional confrontation games.
The tray is signed on the edge: “Imp. Rome Frères – Rue de l’Estampe, 17 – Paris” , a printing company active at the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century.
