A charming lithograph from the "Letters and Signs" series published by H. Vial in Dourdan, circa 1900. This print depicts two shop signs from the Belle Époque: one for a hotel-restaurant , adorned with vine leaves and tableware, and another for a car garage , surrounded by flowers and typographic ribbons bearing the inscription "Oils - Gasoline." A fine example of late 19th-early 20th-century advertising art, blending typographic elegance with the symbolism of the early days of motorized tourism.
