An antique white semi-porcelain jam jar with a blue printed design, marked "Confitures fines Félix Potin – Paris," produced by the Badonviller factory. The richly designed ornamental cartouche is printed in a blue-gray hue characteristic of the Badonviller factory, significantly rarer than the green versions produced by K&G. Used in Félix Potin grocery stores for packaging and selling jams, this jar perfectly illustrates the refined and standardized aesthetic of major French food companies around 1900. Its cylindrical shape, soft color, and typographic decoration make it a highly prized piece for decoration or for collecting antique advertising jars.
