Former Bordin mustard pot in white glazed earthenware, decorated in black with the inscription "Moutarde de Bordin Vinaigrier du Roi de Monsieur et de S.A.S. M. d’Orléans - Rue Saint-Martin n°71 à Paris". This example corresponds to the first known original version from the Bordin house, produced in the early 19th century, before later models bearing other addresses or commercial distinctions. Its old typographic marking, its characteristic tall shape, and its beautiful patina make it a particularly sought-after piece in the world of antique grocery pots and advertising earthenware.

✦ Estimated period: Circa 1815-1830 - first version of the early 19th century
✦ Dimensions: approx. 12 x 7 cm
