An antique Grey mustard pot from Dijon in white earthenware, decorated with a beautiful black design featuring the imperial coat of arms. The eagle is positioned in the center of a shield surrounded by a star-shaped pendant collar, on a spread mantlepiece surmounted by a crown, with a crossed scepter and hand of justice. A long banner with fringed ends frames the design and bears the inscriptions "House founded in 1777", "Supplier to H.M. the Emperor" and "Eight medals of honor". The name GREY stands out in large shaded letters above the inscription "Manufacturer in Dijon". Under the base, the mark "Creil et Montereau - L.M. & Cie - Opaque porcelain" identifies the Lebeuf, Milliet et Cie factory.
