Vintage Grey-Poupon mustard pot in white earthenware, first version made by Sarreguemines, with a rich black decoration featuring the coat of arms of Dijon. The shield topped with a mural crown is surrounded by bunches of grapes, vine leaves, and a scrolled cartouche. A banner finished with tassels reads “Maison fondée en 1777” and displays the house’s awards above the inscriptions DIJON and GREY-POUPON. Around the neck, a ribbon bears the words “Médaille d’or - Paris 1889”. On the back, the diagonal inscription “Exiger le cachet Grey-Poupon” invites customers to check the product’s authenticity. The base retains the “Opaque de Sarreguemines” mark, arranged around a crowned coat of arms.
