Antique advertising jar in enameled earthenware for "Confitures Surfines" (Fine Jams) from the D. Coute house in Paris. This remarkable piece stands out for its rich polychrome decoration including a pink banner adorned with floral motifs, a central medallion stamped with the initials of the house, as well as the Parisian addresses of Boulevard Raspail and Rue de Maubeuge. The bottom of the jar retains its original red cartouche indicating the variety "Apricots - Pure Sugar & Fruits". A very beautiful piece of antique grocery, particularly aesthetic due to the delicacy of its graphics and its preserved polychromy.
