Antique white ceramic toiletry cream pot from the famous Parisian house Gellé Frères. The lid features an elegant green printed floral decoration with the mentions "Crème Savon Glycérinée", "Gellé Frères" and "Avenue de l'Opéra - Paris". Founded in 1826, Gellé Frères was one of the great French perfumeries of the Belle Époque and was awarded at numerous world exhibitions. These small pots were intended to contain refined toiletries sold in prestigious Parisian boutiques.
