A precision scientific instrument signed Jules Richard – Manufacturer, Paris , presented in its original wooden case covered in black canvas with a purple velvet interior. This is a portable propeller anemometer used to measure wind speed in linear meters traveled. The device, equipped with an eight-bladed metal propeller and a graduated analog dial, is numbered and stamped RF – Patented SGDG Paris . This type of instrument, used in meteorology, aeronautics, and mining, was manufactured in Jules Richard's Parisian workshops from the late 19th century.
