A charming cocoa tin from the Dutch brand Bensdorp , official supplier to the court and renowned for its pure Dutch cocoa . This tall, lithographed tin (a small, uncommon model) features a pale green design entirely adorned with cocoa pods intertwined with foliage. Each side is illustrated with a vintage black and white postcard depicting various iconic Rotterdam landmarks, such as the Grote Markt (Main Square), the Port, and the Bolwerk Canal. On the lid and base, a colorful pastoral scene shows a Dutch woman in traditional dress enjoying a cup of hot chocolate. A precious piece, at once advertising, ethnographic, and decorative.
