Rare antique Volkswagen toolbox (roundbox) made of thick stamped steel, preserved in its original blue paint with a superb old patina. This piece features the embossed VW logo on the lid, as well as an interior with its tool clips. Also visible inside is the original illustrated marking representing the various tools from the Volkswagen kit. The manufacturing appears entirely consistent with early post-war German productions: thick stamped steel, robust construction, period welded clips, and superb uniform aging. The whole has an exceptional presence and an authenticity highly sought after by Volkswagen, automobilia, and vintage garage collectors.
