Large antique lithographed tin box for "Cacao Damoy" cocoa, brand "La Tasse," produced by the Damoy house in Paris. The richly illustrated design features a botanical border composed of cocoa pods and stylized foliage, typical of food packaging from the early 20th century. The main face shows a steaming cup accompanied by the inscription "Non solubilisé - garanti pur" (Non-solubilized - guaranteed pure). One side mentions the award "Grand Prix - Turin Exhibition 1911," an important element of commercial promotion at the time. The perimeter indicates the Parisian addresses of the Damoy house (Boulevard Sébastopol and Quai de la Loire), a renowned chocolate and confectionery maker. The piece offers a beautiful late Belle Époque advertising aesthetic, particularly decorative with its palette of greens, ochres, and golds.
