Superb and authentic rectangular lithographed tin box for the famous "Cacao Moreuil Solubilisé", whose company was founded in 1825. From the Moreuil Chocolate Factory located in Paris-Clichy, this 500-gram box features magnificent retro graphic decoration combining a cream background, burgundy ornaments, and royal blue scrolls highlighted with fine gilding. The main face superbly showcases the brand's coat of arms, topped with a mural crown and surrounded by laurel branches.
The side panels feature the original framed text detailing the instructions for use and the virtues of this cocoa, written in French on one side ("Préparation au lait / à l'eau" - Preparation with milk / with water) and in English on the other ("Directions for use"), testifying to the international reach and export of the chocolate factory. The original tin lid is also stamped with the brand's logo. It has a very beautiful visual presence.
