Rare old advertising dummy box from the famous Lefèvre-Utile (LU) company, made in the form of a miniature reduction of a Petit-Beurre biscuit packet. Consisting of a wooden block covered with lithographed labels faithfully reproducing the original packaging, it was probably intended for commercial presentation, retail displays, or sales representative demonstrations. Its Art Nouveau decor highlights the brand's iconic winged angel as well as mentions of the awards obtained at the Paris 1900 Universal Exhibition. A rare testimony to early 20th-century French food advertising.
