Rare antique lithographed tin advertising matchbox for the company "Le Secours," featuring an allegorical motif of a bird feeding its young under rays of light. The reverse side depicts an accident scene (cyclist knocked down), illustrating the role of the insurance company. A utilitarian everyday object from the turn of the 20th century, it was used to hold matches with an integrated striker. The sliding opening system is still functional, adding to the appeal of this authentic piece.
