Large lithographed advertising cardboard for Chocolat Lombart, a Parisian company claiming to have been founded in 1760, presented here in a very Belle Époque composition: rocaille cartouche, crown, red medallions reminiscent of the royal patents of 1789 and 1814, decorative branches and large shaded black lettering. The inscription "En vente ici" (For sale here) indicates a point-of-sale support, probably hung at a retailer's. The printer visible at the bottom, "Imp. F. Champenois, Paris", confirms a quality Parisian lithographic production, consistent with the 1900-1910 period: F. Champenois was active as a Parisian printer-publisher at that time, and Chocolat Lombart posters are documented around 1905.
