Rare pair of small promotional pepper shakers in lithographed tin, one with blue decor and the other pink. Floral scrolls frame the inscriptions "Poivre gris - Garanti pur" (Grey pepper - Guaranteed pure) and "Poivre blanc - Garanti pur" (White pepper - Guaranteed pure). The perforated lids allow for sprinkling the contents. The mention "Décoration sur métaux - Bagnolet" appears at the base. This refers to a metal decoration company based in Bagnolet, recorded in liquidation in 1912, which dates these items to the early 20th century.
