Rare "Juggling Clown" puzzle - French Algeria

Rare circular puzzle illustrated with a harlequin or juggler in a costume decorated with hearts. The aim is to guide the metal balls into the different cavities around the character.

The illustration bears the inscription DRGM 116769 , indicating a registered German design (Deutsches Reichsgebrauchsmuster). These miniature advertising games were produced in Germany and then widely exported to Europe and the colonies as promotional items.

The reverse side features an advertisement for Maison Storto – Men's and children's clothing – Boulevard Seguin in Oran (French Algeria).
