Rare antique white earthenware food jar with green printed decoration, marked "Fabrique de Produits Alimentaires F. Luce" with a star-shaped medallion reading "Confitures – Qualité supérieure garantie pur sucre" (Jams – Superior Quality Guaranteed Pure Sugar), Parisian addresses Place de Clichy and Rue de Saint-Pétersbourg, typography and ornamentation characteristic of the early 20th century. This container was intended for food products in Parisian delicatessens or shops, and testifies to the expertise of the K&G Lunéville factory, renowned for its utilitarian and advertising earthenware during the Belle Époque.
