Old Félix Potin semi-porcelain jar from Badonviller, with a delicate bluish hue, retaining its rare original paper label "Crème de marrons glacés". Its blue-grey printed decoration features the inscription "Confitures fines Félix Potin" in a floral cartouche adorned with foliage and a bow. The polychrome label, also bearing the words "Dessert aux fruits confits", provides valuable insight into its original commercial presentation. A particularly interesting example for this rarely preserved label, with the crowned stamp "Demi-porcelaine Badonviller" under the base.
