An elegant little pot of antique paint from the renowned Ripolin company , one of the first industrial brands to develop ready-to-use paint in the late 19th century. This rare model, decorated with floral friezes, bears a typical label with the inscription "Société de Peintures et Vernis Ripolin – Paris, Amsterdam. " The shade "Andrinople moyen" (a deep, rich red) evokes the oriental colors that were very fashionable at the time. The pot is still partially filled with its original paint, which has a glossy, lacquered texture, offering a direct glimpse into the history of decorative painting. A true collector's gem.
