Anti-Nazi satirical box set "German Aviation Review" - 1945

0,00 € Déjà adopté

Rare humorous box from the "Coucou" series, number 7, published after the Liberation by the Manufacture Française de Surprises Enfantines (Nieppe, Nord). It ironically illustrates the Luftwaffe's defeat: a pot-bellied German soldier, locked in his cell, contemplates his paper airplanes – a biting caricature of the end of the Nazi regime. Polychrome printing on blue cardboard, typical of French satirical production in the immediate post-war period.

✦ Origin: France, Nieppe (Nord)
✦ Estimated period: 1945 (WW2)
✦ Dimensions: 8x6x2.5 cm
✦ Material: Multicolor printed cardboard
✦ Condition: Very good overall condition, fresh colors, slight patina from use

A representative collector's item of post-war French satire – ideal for lovers of ephemera, history and anti-Nazi caricature.
