An antique medical instrument designed for bloodletting by scarification, used primarily in the 19th century in conjunction with cupping. This compact model with an internal spring mechanism allowed for several rapid and regular incisions thanks to simultaneously triggered blades. The striated cylindrical body, the trigger lever, and the perforated face correspond to classic medical scarifiers distributed in France and Europe in the late 19th and very early 20th centuries. It comes with its wooden case.
