A magnificent and rare set of 42 small pots of vibrantly colored enameled decorative pigments from the prestigious Parisian firm of Gustave Sennelier , active since the late 19th century. Each metal pot bears its original printed label indicating the shade (Rich Purple, Azure Blue, Emerald Green, Coral, etc.) and the inscription "Complete Illusion of Antique Enamels and Cloisonné." They are still partially filled with their original contents. This rare set perfectly illustrates the refinement of decorative arts around 1900 and is a prized piece for collectors, decorators, or art history enthusiasts.
