Elegant and uncommon, these three different models of "Lion Noir" shoe polish tins are distinguished by their superb black and cream printing on lithographed metal. The layout is identical to the orange models, but the understated two-tone color scheme gives these tins a more refined character. They feature the iconic lion resting on a shoe, accompanied by the inscription "Waterproof Cream Shoe Polish – For all shoes." Made in Paris-Montrouge, they retain their double-lug mechanical closure and excellent legibility. The set includes two sizes: one 6.5 cm tin and two different 5 cm versions. These examples are particularly sought after by collectors of vintage advertising and decorative toiletries.
