A superb Spanish notarial manuscript dated 1872 , handwritten in brown ink by the notary Don Anselmo Arnedo y García in Tudela (Navarre). This manuscript, entitled Escritura de partición y adjudicación de bienes y derechos radicantes en las provincias de Navarra y Aragón, details, among other things, the distribution of property and land among the siblings Luis, Arturo, Emilio, and Ana de Bertodano y de la Cerda. Bound with leather ties, this document of nearly 400 handwritten pages constitutes a remarkable administrative and calligraphic record of Spanish notarial practice in the 19th century. It contains magnificent ornate letterheads, period tax stamps, stamped coats of arms, and lengthy cadastral descriptions combining urban ( Urbanos ) and rural ( Rústicos ) properties, all meticulously recorded. A complete, authentic collection of great historical and aesthetic interest.
