Rare VIANDOX advertising cup in semi-porcelain from Badonviller, adorned with the famous slogan "La Santé par Viandox! Produit Liebig". The red/burgundy printed decoration, more refined than the first ornamental version, reflects a progressive simplification of the graphics while retaining the initial message focused on the product's benefits. The molded handle, elegant and still expressive, is in line with productions from the early interwar period. The reverse side features the Badonviller faience factory's stamp from a version predating 1923, allowing this production to be precisely dated to the first years of Viandox's distribution in France. This model corresponds to the first known version of this typology with a red decoration, still produced in Badonviller, before its adoption and wider distribution by the Sarreguemines faience factory in slightly different shapes and typographies.
