Antique mechanical corkscrew with articulated arms, model "ZIG-ZAG", presented in its original cardboard box with illustrated instructions. This ingenious system, patented by SGDG, allows for the gradual extraction of the cork via an accordion-style lever mechanism, minimizing jolts and the risk of breakage. Made of nickel-plated metal, marked "ZIG-ZAG" on the handle and "Patented SGDG – France – M & DM" on the central plate, this set perfectly embodies the functional aesthetic and technical ingenuity of tableware from the first third of the 20th century.
