An antique scientific apparatus for producing electrical pulses in an induction coil, known as a Ruhmkorff coil vibrator switch . This automatic switch, mounted on a mahogany base, is equipped with a high-quality brass armature, two coils of black copper wire, a vibrating strip with a spiral spring, and four connection terminals. It allowed the creation of alternating current from direct current to power a Ruhmkorff coil , generating high-voltage sparks. This is a teaching or laboratory instrument, representative of electrotechnical equipment from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries.
