Collection: Artistic portfolios

Discover a selection of decorative pattern collections dating from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. These portfolios bring together original plates intended for decorative painters, typographers, sign makers, ornamentalists and craftsmen: wall friezes, decorative panels, alphabets, lettering, monograms and ornamental motifs characteristic of the Belle Époque and Art Nouveau periods.

Printed using chromolithography or engraving, these works were used as sources of inspiration in workshops and today constitute valuable testimonies of graphic and decorative arts around 1900. Each collection is distinguished by the finesse of its drawing, the richness of its compositions and its strong decorative potential, whether for collecting, framing or artistic inspiration.
