Pots Dundee Marmalade

Collection: Dundee Marmalade Jars

Discover our collection of antique James Keiller & Sons Dundee Marmalade jars, true examples of British food packaging from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Made of white earthenware with black printing , these jars were produced to hold the famous Scottish marmalade, which won awards in London in 1862 and Vienna in 1873. Their iconic decoration – wreaths of leaves, medals, Victorian typography – makes these advertising containers highly sought-after pieces for decoration, collecting, and culinary history today.

Our selection includes the various historical formats : 1 lb, 1 lb tall, 2 lb, 3 lb, as well as French versions and those marked Maling Newcastle. Each jar displays the graphic variations specific to its period of manufacture, allowing for the identification of the earliest productions and later models.
